What is the returns policy?
You have 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, to change your mind and return the goods to us. Where the goods are split into several deliveries over different days, you have 14 days after receipt of the last delivery to change your mind.

Are there any exclusions?
You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of any goods that:
• you have damaged; or
• are no longer in their original condition (including where you have cut tags off or where you have removed any internal packaging).

How can I request a refund?
You can begin the return process by contacting us via email at returns@alfrescochic.co.uk.

Where should I send my return?
If your return request meets the requirements in this Returns Policy, we will issue you with a return authorisation and further information on where to send your goods. We must receive the goods within 14 days of your telling us you wish to return your goods.

Please do not send any returned goods to the address at the end of this page. Any goods sent to this address will be returned to you, at your cost. 

Who covers the cost of returning the goods?
We will pay the costs of the return if the goods are faulty or misdescribed. In all other circumstances (including where you are exercising your right to change your mind), you must pay the costs of return. This includes where we have agreed to collect the goods from you.

Will there be any deductions from my refund?
We may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your mishandling. If we give you a refund before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover that you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.

When will I receive my refund?
We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible, and within 14 days of receiving your returned goods.

The fire pit's internal mechanics are designed for durability, with all internal parts made from stainless steel, ensuring a long-lasting product with proper care. The 304 stainless steel tank is built to last a lifetime, maintaining its condition and functionality when proper cleaning procedures are followed when needed. It is important that the lid is kept closed when not in use to prevent debris from entering the burner, which could cause corrosion and damage.

Can I use the EcoSmart Fire bioethanol fire pit table indoors?

Do ethanol fireplaces produce any unpleasant odours or fumes?
Similar to other heating options, ethanol fireplaces may cause a slight smell when ignited or extinguished, similar to when you blow out a candle. e-NRG ethanol fuel is the only fuel recommended for EcoSmart Fire fireplaces. e-NRG ethanol fuel has the lowest odour and longest burn time on the market. The nice thing about using ethanol is that it’s not dry like gas or smoky like wood.

Bioethanol is a renewable energy source made from plant by-products. It provides a clean burn with the only by-products being heat, steam, and a small amount of carbon dioxide, which is absorbed by plants. How do I fill the bioethanol burner, and is the process safe?
Filling the burner is a quick and safe process with EcoSmart Fire's proprietary tools and procedures. Ensure the burner is off and cool before filling. Remove the bottle nozzle cap and insert it into the filling point, push and hold the green button; the nozzle will automatically stop when the reservoir is full. Finally, replace the nozzle cap. It's crucial to use only e-NRG bioethanol fuel, as it is specially formulated for EcoSmart Fire products, ensuring a safe and efficient burning experience.

How do I light and extinguish the EcoSmart Fire bioethanol fire pit table?
Lighting and extinguishing the fire is a simple process. To light, use the lighting rod provided to open the burner lid, wet the end of the rod with ethanol, and then ignite and place it back into the burner. To extinguish, use the rod to safely close the burner lid, cutting off the oxygen supply to the flame. Always ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving it unattended.
