MOODZ Fire Pits

MOODZ Outdoor Living produces fire bowls with a clear emphasis on simplicity, quality and scale. The range covers five sizes from 60cm to 150cm, each made from 3mm Corten steel or stainless steel, and designed to become a long-term feature of a garden rather than a temporary addition.

The MOODZ approach is deliberately uncomplicated. No unnecessary detailing, no decorative additions. A well-proportioned bowl, quality materials and a design that holds up over years of outdoor use.

The MOODZ Range

MOODZ fire bowls are available in five sizes: 60cm, 80cm, 100cm, 120cm and 150cm. This breadth makes MOODZ one of the more versatile fire bowl brands available, covering everything from compact patio bowls to large-scale garden centrepieces.

The most popular model in the range is the MOODZ Fire Bowl with Feet and Handle. This bowl stands on three legs and has two side handles, making it easy to reposition when needed. The elevated profile also makes the fire more visible from a seated position, which suits social outdoor settings well.

All MOODZ fire bowls are available in Corten steel or stainless steel*. Both materials are 3mm thick and built for permanent outdoor use.

Corten Steel or Stainless Steel?

Both materials are suited to year-round outdoor use in the UK, and the choice comes down largely to aesthetics.

Corten steel develops a rich, rust-toned patina as it weathers. This is the result of a natural oxidation process, and the patina formed acts as a protective layer that slows further corrosion. The result is a bowl that grows more characterful with age and complements natural garden settings.

Stainless steel does not discolour in the same way. It retains a clean, grey-toned metallic surface over time that suits more contemporary or minimalist outdoor spaces.

Choosing the Right Size

MOODZ fire bowls come in five sizes. As a general guide:

  • A 60cm or 80cm bowl suits a smaller patio or courtyard, and works well for one or two people gathered close to the fire.
  • A 100cm bowl is a versatile mid-range option that suits most garden sizes and is comfortable for a group of four to six.
  • A 120cm or 150cm bowl is a statement piece for a larger outdoor space. The scale creates a more theatrical fire and suits larger groups at a distance.

MOODZ Fire Pits FAQs

What is MOODZ Outdoor Living?

MOODZ Outdoor Living is a brand specialising in fire bowls made from Corten steel and stainless steel. The range covers five sizes from 60cm to 150cm, designed for long-term outdoor use with a focus on quality materials and understated design.

What steel are MOODZ fire bowls made from?

MOODZ fire bowls are made from 3mm Corten steel or stainless steel. Corten is a weatherproof alloy that forms a protective rust-toned patina over time. Stainless steel retains a clean grey metallic surface. Both options are built for permanent outdoor installation and require no specialist maintenance.

Do MOODZ fire bowls need maintenance?

Very little. Corten steel develops and maintains its own protective surface naturally over time. Removing ash after each use and keeping drainage clear is generally all that is needed. A cover can help protect the bowl during long periods of non-use, particularly through wetter months.

Can MOODZ fire bowls be used for cooking?

Yes. MOODZ fire bowls are compatible with BonFeu's full range of cooking accessories: the BonGrill Full Circle, the BonGrill Half Circle and the BonPlancha Half Circle, all of which sit directly across the top of the bowl. As sister brands, BonFeu accessories are designed to work equally well with MOODZ fire bowls, so the cooking capability is identical across both ranges.

What is the difference between BonFeu's BonBowl and a MOODZ fire bowl?

Very little. Both are high-quality Corten steel fire bowls, and as sister brands they share the same BonFeu cooking accessories, so there is no difference in cooking capability. The practical differences come down to material, size and aesthetics. MOODZ is available in both Corten and stainless steel; BonFeu fire pits are Corten only. MOODZ also offers a wider size range, with the Classic available up to 150cm in Corten. Aesthetically, BonFeu bowls have the logo cut out through the side of the bowl, while MOODZ bowls carry a brand plaque, which is a subtle distinction you can see clearly in the product images. If you are comparing the two, visit the BonFeu fire pits page to see both ranges side by side.
