Happy Cocooning is a Dutch brand, established in 2008 and part of the same group as BonFeu and MOODZ. It is one of the most established names in gas fire pit tables in Europe, and it sits at a more approachable price point than the luxury end of the market without giving up the finish.
This page brings together everything we stock from the brand: the fire pit tables themselves, the Lumi table burners, and the accessories that go with them.
Why choose a Happy Cocooning fire pit
Gas gives you the flame without the work that goes with burning wood. There is no ash to clear and no fire to build. You turn it on, set the flame height on the control knob, and it is ready. When the evening ends, you turn it off.
Every model runs on bottled gas, either propane or butane, with the bottle connected externally. Lava stones are included as standard to fill out the flame. The tables are built to look like furniture rather than equipment, so they hold their place on a terrace when the fire is not lit.
The fire pit tables
We stock three model families. The Estate range, in round 76, round 105 and square 88, uses a composite stone-look construction in travertine or oyster beige. The Riviera 80 and 140 and the Horizon 95 pair an aluminium frame with an acacia wood top, in smokey anthracite or oyster beige. The Lagune 60 is the compact one, finished in teak.
Sizes run from 60cm up to 140cm, so the choice usually comes down to the space you have and the furniture you are setting it against. Prices start at around £450 and run to about £700. If you are still comparing brands, these sit alongside the rest of our gas fire pits.
Table burners and built-in burners
The Lumi table burners are the small format version of the same idea, sized for a dining or coffee table rather than standing on their own. They come in steel, stone, teak, groove and rib finishes, starting at under £100.
There is also a 36cm square built-in burner, for anyone building a fire feature into their own structure.
Accessories
Glass windscreens come in sizes to fit each model and protect the flame on a breezy evening. Gas bottle enclosures, in round, square, rib and teak Lagune versions, hide the cylinder next to the table. Lids turn the Estate models into a usable surface when the fire is off, and ceramic wood logs are available separately if you want a more traditional look than the lava stones alone. Two side tables complete the range.
Accessories start at around £35, and you will find them with the rest of our fire pit accessories.
Safety
Follow the manufacturer's instructions that come with your fire pit, and never modify it. If you are in any doubt about installation or use, speak to us before you light it.
Delivery is free on UK orders over £500. If you are not sure which model or size suits your space, contact the team and we will help you work it out.
