Igneus Pizza Ovens

Igneus pizza ovens are handcrafted in Portugal and designed for wood-fired cooking at home. The range covers three models, from a capable home oven through to a high-performance option suited to cooking for a crowd, and each one reaches genuine cooking temperatures quickly.

Pizza cooks in around 60 seconds at operating temperature. Bread, roasts and cast iron dishes work equally well. The Igneus range is built for outdoor cooks who want a wood-fired oven that earns its place outside year-round, not just through summer.

The Igneus Pizza Oven Range

Alfresco Chic stocks three models from the Igneus pizza oven range: the Classico, the Pro 600 and the Pro 750. Each suits a different level of use and cooking ambition.

Igneus Classico

The Igneus Classico is by far the most popular oven in the range. It heats to cooking temperature in 15 to 20 minutes and can cook two 12-inch pizzas simultaneously. Compact enough to sit on a garden table or outdoor kitchen worktop, it suits households who cook wood-fired pizza regularly and want a capable, reliable oven without the footprint of a larger model. A dedicated stand is available separately for a freestanding setup.

Igneus Pro 600

The Igneus Pro 600 is a step up from the Classico in construction and durability. It has a 600mm x 600mm cooking chamber, thicker insulation for improved heat retention, and upgraded steel throughout. It can cook two 12-inch pizzas or two full roasting tins simultaneously and holds heat for up to seven hours. The Pro 600 suits serious home cooks and those who want an oven capable of handling extended cooking sessions, from a full pizza evening to slow-roasted joints and bread.

Igneus Pro 750

The Igneus Pro 750 has the largest cooking chamber in the range at 750mm x 750mm. It reaches 400°C in around 30 minutes and can cook up to four 12-inch pizzas at a time. It is the right choice for larger households, regular outdoor entertaining and anyone who wants maximum capacity from a wood-fired oven. Like the Pro 600, it retains heat exceptionally well and can be used throughout a long cooking session without frequent refuelling.

Which Igneus Pizza Oven Is Right for You?

The choice between the three models comes down to how often you cook, how many people you are cooking for and what else you want the oven to handle beyond pizza.

The Classico is the natural starting point for most households. It handles pizza extremely well and is a practical size for regular outdoor use.

The Pro 600 is the choice for anyone who wants a more capable oven built to a higher specification. The improved insulation and larger cooking capacity make a meaningful difference if you are cooking for more than a small household or want to use the oven for extended sessions.

The Pro 750 is for those who want the most capable option in the range. Four pizzas at a time and a chamber large enough to take on almost any dish makes it the right oven for serious outdoor cooks and those who regularly entertain larger groups.

Wood-Fired Cooking Beyond Pizza

Igneus pizza ovens are not limited to pizza. The high temperatures and excellent heat retention make them suited to a wide range of cooking methods. Bread and flatbreads benefit from the floor temperature directly. Roasts cooked in cast iron inside the chamber develop a depth of flavour a conventional oven cannot replicate. Fish, vegetables and smaller cuts can be cooked quickly using the intense direct heat near the mouth of the oven.

Accessories are available across the range, including pizza peels, turning peels, pan sets and oven tools.
