Designed by Barcelona designer Hiroshi Tsunoda, it stands 780mm high, so the fire is up at eye level when you’re sitting around it, and burns 8 to 11 hours on a tank with no smoke, soot or ash. About the Stix
Designed by the Barcelona-based designer Hiroshi Tsunoda, the Stix is a contemporary twist on the traditional campfire, with a cluster of stainless steel sticks standing around a burner at the centre. It measures 556 by 556mm at the base and stands 780mm high. The surround is either brushed grade 304 stainless steel or grade 202 stainless steel with a black powder coating, and the burner is grade 304 stainless steel, with a black ceramic coated version available. At 14kg there’s nothing to install, and ground fixing brackets are included if you want it anchored in position.
Fuel and burn time
The Stix runs on bioethanol. The fuel goes into a burner set within the sticks, so there’s no bottle to find a home for and no gas supply to run in. Nothing needs installing before you use it.
Bioethanol burns clean, which is what allows a fire like this with no flue. There’s nothing to clear out afterwards, and nothing to relight or tend once it’s going. You light it with the supplied lighting rod, and a slider on the burner adjusts the flame or puts it out.
The burner holds 2.5 litres and runs 8 to 11 hours on a full tank at 1.7kW. That’s comfortable warmth for people sitting close to it rather than heat that carries across a garden.

Where to position your fire pit
The Stix is safe to stand on wooden decking, concrete or stone. The surface needs to be hard, flat and at least as large as the base. Leave 600mm between the flame and fixed furniture, and 2 metres of clear space above it, which is worth measuring against a pergola or overhanging branches.
Don’t place it on grass, artificial turf, carpet, rock or anything uneven and Keep it out of standing water.
Materials and finishes
Two finishes: brushed stainless steel, or black. The brushed version is grade 304 stainless steel; the black is grade 202 stainless steel with a powder coating. The burner is grade 304 stainless steel either way, with a black ceramic coated version available.
Near the coast or a swimming pool, wash the Stix down regularly with fresh water to remove salt or pool water. Left on the steel, both can cause it to rust.
Clean the brushed stainless with mild soap and water. Never use steel wool or bleach, both of which damage the surface.
What comes in the box
The Stix includes the ground fixing brackets, the jerry can with safety spout and spout extension, the e-NRG bottle adaptor, and the lighting rod and lighter.
Other accessories worth considering
An all-weather cover keeps water and debris off the Stix between uses. Where snow is likely to settle, the cover is a condition of the warranty rather than an optional extra.
Delivery
Lead time is one to two weeks.
The Stix ships on a pallet, and pallet deliveries are kerbside only. The driver will get it to your driveway or garage on a flat, solid surface, but can’t take it any further. At 14kg you should be able to move it into position on your own once it arrives.

Refunds and Returns
What is the returns policy?
You have 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, to change your mind and return the goods to us. Where the goods are split into several deliveries over different days, you have 14 days after receipt of the last delivery to change your mind.
Are there any exclusions?
You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of any goods that:
• you have damaged; or
• are no longer in their original condition (including where you have cut tags off or where you have removed any internal packaging).
How can I request a refund?

Where should I send my return?
If your return request meets the requirements in this Returns Policy, we will issue you with a return authorisation and further information on where to send your goods. We must receive the goods within 14 days of your telling us you wish to return your goods.
Please do not send any returned goods to the address at the end of this page. Any goods sent to this address will be returned to you, at your cost.
Who covers the cost of returning the goods?
We will pay the costs of the return if the goods are faulty or misdescribed. In all other circumstances (including where you are exercising your right to change your mind), you must pay the costs of return. This includes where we have agreed to collect the goods from you.
Will there be any deductions from my refund?
We may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your mishandling. If we give you a refund before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover that you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.
