The Buschbeck Standard Base Extension is designed to elevate your outdoor cooking experience by not only enhancing the look of your barbeque but also by significantly raising the grilling height. The extension not only enhances the overall appearance of your barbecue but also provides a more ergonomic cooking height, making your grilling sessions more comfortable. Crafted to seamlessly integrate with your Buschbeck barbecue, this extension adds both functionality and style to your outdoor space. 

This standard size base extension fits the majority of our Buschbeck models (with the exception of the Rondo and Wellington which require the Large Base Extension).

We offer Free Delivery to the United Kingdom Mainland on all orders over £150.

We currently deliver to all locations within the United Kingdom (UK). However, if you are outside of mainland UK (including the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, and Northern Ireland), please contact us at info@alfrescochic.co.uk or on 0333 050 9974 to discuss your delivery options and to obtain a quote, prior to placing your order. 

Please note our transport providers will deliver your Buschbeck masonry barbecue to the nearest kerbside vehicular access point at the delivery address and are under no obligation to place the barbecue or any of its component parts any nearer to the required final position. We only offer a kerbside delivery service for masonry barbecues with smaller products under 30KG in weight being delivered by parcel courier.

Current Delivery Times

We aim to deliver all Buschbeck goods within four working days from processing of payment. Despatch normally takes place on the same day the payment is processed. Any products not available at the time of ordering will be despatched as soon as is possible. 

Express Shipping

In many cases we are able to ship orders on a “Next Day” delivery basis for an additional charge. If you require this service please enquire with us to confirm the availability of the product and the additional cost for transportation prior to ordering.

Refunds & Returns 

What is the returns policy?
You have 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, to change your mind and return the goods to us. Where the goods are split into several deliveries over different days, you have 14 days after receipt of the last delivery to change your mind.

Are there any exclusions?
You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of any goods that:

• you have damaged; or
  
• are no longer in their original condition (including where you have cut tags off or where you have removed any internal packaging).

How can I request a refund?
You can begin the return process by contacting us via email at returns@alfrescochic.co.uk.

Where should I send my return?
If your return request meets the requirements in this Returns Policy, we will issue you with a return authorisation and further information on where to send your goods. We must receive the goods within 14 days of your telling us you wish to return your goods.

Please do not send any returned goods to the address at the end of this page. Any goods sent to this address will be returned to you, at your cost. 

Who covers the cost of returning the goods?
We will pay the costs of the return if the goods are faulty or misdescribed. In all other circumstances (including where you are exercising your right to change your mind), you must pay the costs of return. This includes where we have agreed to collect the goods from you.

Will there be any deductions from my refund?
We may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your mishandling. If we give you a refund before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover that you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.

When will I receive my refund?
We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible, and within 14 days of receiving your returned goods.

What makes Buschbeck Masonry Barbecues unique?
Buschbeck Masonry Barbecues stand out due to their built-in inner chimney hood, which allows for burning logs and transforming your barbecue into a stunning outdoor fireplace after cooking. This feature adds a cosy ambiance to your outdoor space. Please note that the Carmen with Side Table Set does not include an inner chimney hood, so it is designed for charcoal use only. The standard Carmen model, however, can burn both charcoal and wood.

Do I need to paint my Buschbeck Barbecue?
Painting your Buschbeck Barbecue is not necessary. These barbecues are designed for easy maintenance and can be cleaned with a jet wash if needed. However, if you prefer a specific colour, you can paint your barbecue with masonry paint to match your outdoor décor.

Is every Buschbeck Barbecue supplied with a chrome cooking grill?
Yes, every Buschbeck Barbecue comes equipped with a heavy-duty chrome cooking grill. For those who prefer cast iron cooking grids, we offer these as an optional accessory available on our website, along with a range of other accessories to enhance your outdoor cooking experience.

I’ve lost my assembly instructions. Can you help?
No problem! You can easily download the assembly instructions for your Buschbeck model as a PDF from our website. If you prefer, we can also mail a copy to you upon request.

What guarantee do I get on Buschbeck products?
All Buschbeck products come with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring peace of mind with your investment.

Do I need to purchase the Stainless Steel Fire Grate?
The Stainless Steel Fire Grate is optional. Each Buschbeck Barbecue is supplied with a bevelled refractory base where you can burn charcoal or logs (note: logs cannot be burned on the Montana, Kortina, or Carmen with Side Table models). Many customers choose to add a Stainless Steel Fire Grate as it simplifies ash disposal, but it is not essential.

Do Buschbeck Barbecues need to be covered in autumn/winter?
Buschbeck Barbecues are built to withstand all seasons, including rain and frost, so there is no need to cover them during autumn or winter. However, if you prefer to protect your barbecue from the elements, we offer covers as an optional accessory.
